I came across this a little while ago and wanted to share it. As i look at it now i can't help but think of the people of Christchurch New Zealand, Queensland, Haiti, The Sudan, Lybia, and Japan and surrounding areas. The song, and the video, with its deathly motifs but radically audacious theme - not to mention its Christly references - speaks boldy and powerfully of the defiance of life in the face of death. In light of these unfolding tragedies, to my mind, this piece of art becomes a tribute and a prayer.
This is the music video for Johnny Cash's 'Ain't No Grave' redux. Each frame has been drawn by a different artist and then the whole thing strung back together to create this mesmerising dance of images in reflection of the song itself, the man Johnny Cash, and his spirituality.
May your Kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
I can't embed the video so i've pasted a link Here
